Formed in 2005 by Greg Weinbrecht and Raul L. Celaya, LLF was inspired by the men of Los Lobos, the subject of our first documentary project. It is their steadfast bond of friendship which serves as a model to creating lasting relationships.

LLF seeks to carry these core values in creating these lasting relations with its clients and customers or Friends.



Raul L. Celaya
Head of Production

Raul L. Celaya is a native Californian from parents born in Mexico. He was raised in the southeastern town of El Centro located in the Imperial Valley. After graduating high school he moved to San Diego where he studied Architecture , Film and Theatre. He joined the Mesa College Theatre Company in 1993 where  he specialized in learning the technical aspects of theatre. He also directed multiple plays, winning awards for excellence in direction. In 1996, he graduated from the Company with a degree in Dramatic and Liberal Arts.

Raul began his entertainment career in New York City soon thereafter working as a technical director and lighting designer for Off Broadway shows. He then proceeded to film where his experience and dedication led him to Los Angeles to work in production. His bi-coastal status developed a dynamic list of credits like the MTV Video Music Awards, Nutty Professor II, Duplex, Big Fat Liar, Catch Me If You Can, and Along Came Polly.

In 2003, at age 28 Raul joined the Directors Guild of America as a Second Assistant Director and immediately joined the staff of the hit television show, Law and Order. His credits as a union A.D. also include numerous national commercials and a feature film.

His producing credits include two feature films, which include stars such as Lou Pucci, Zooey Deschanel, Saul Rubinek and Jena Malone. He is currently in production of an ensemble of online content which are developed and produced with his partner and friend Greg Weinbrecht for SpikeTV.com. Raul and Greg also produce Music Videos for labels like Sony BMG and Century Media Records, and are in development of various multimedia productions for corporate and cable networks.

Creative Development

A New York born Californian, Greg has aspired to be a filmmaker since he was a young boy, writing, directing, and starring in his first film, a claymation/live action short, at the age of 8.

In 1995 he became a player in the Mesa College Theater Company, excelling in acting as well as all aspects of theatrical production. He received multiple accolades playing the lead roles in productions of Heidi Chronicles, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, and Marat/Sade. Greg has also won awards for excellence in production design.

Greg moved to New York City in 1997 to pursue his love of acting, and was accepted into the prestigious William Esper Studio, of which he is a graduate. He went on to perform in several Off-Off Broadway productions including Two Rooms and Beyond Therapy. While in New York, Greg also ran small business in Times Square, for seven years, turning it around from a money losing venture into a profitable company in only one years time.

In 2004 Greg was cast in the film Partner(s) in Los Angeles. Since returning to California, Greg has turned his focus to film production, holding several positions, from transportation logistics and art design, to scheduling and budgeting for films such as The Last Time, Unearthed, Welcome to Paradise, London and Dirty. Greg has returned to directing with his business partner Raul Celaya for the Untitled Los Lobos Project.
